!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

They have a 1974 Datsun 260Z with a body conversion to look like a Ferrari 250 GTO. I believe it is just in project stage but it has a Weber carbureted BMW V12 backed with a 5 speed manual. That just sounds like an awesome project regardless of the Ferrari body kit. Price is $14,500.

Kinja'd!!!

This is what it should look like when done.

Kinja'd!!!

It fits so good.

They also have this weird 71' Volvo P1800/ P2500 for 50K, crack pipe.

Kinja'd!!!

They have a bunch of other stuff too, these ones just stood out the most. And apparently they have some videos on U-Tube.

That’s actually really well proportioned for a replica. The fact that it has a V12 and a 5-speed like the original is even better.

How many of those are gonna be left over when they’re done?

No thank you. It’s a replica, which is fair considering how much a 250 GTO is worth, but it’s somebody’s half-completed dream assembled to god knows what standards.

I think for a 250 GTO replica with a V12 that’s probably not that bad a price. Finished and tuned it would be at least $50k. It does need a lot of work (the photo in the Craigslist ad is an example; go to the Photobucket for more realistic photos.)

The Alfetta project is also a good deal if you’re handy with the bodywork.

The photo of the silver 250 in the parking lot is an actual 250.

Some video of the 260. From the looks of the distributors in the sales photos, it appears he came up with the ignition solution he was talking about in video #2.

I absolutely love the 250 GTO. $15k for a decent replica is NP!

Sadly from the one and only picture of the rear quarter hip/panel and the wheel, the proportions look quite off :(

If they do pull it off, that would be sweet though.

The silver GTO is what the project should look like. Sadly, it doesn’t look like that yet.

I almost fell for the picture of the Silver GTO, but after looking at the actual add I see the kit is definitely not that good. If it was it would be worth it, but since it looks more like a Datsun with a GTO kit on it, yeah CP.
